Dynamic exercises, functional training, and return-to-activity preparation.

Physical therapy after knee replacement
Most people start outpatient therapy within a week or two of a knee replacement. Early goals are controlling swelling, getting the knee straight and bending it past 90 degrees, and walking without a walker. Later we build strength, balance and stair confidence so you can get back to walks, travel and the activities you had the surgery for.
Physical therapy after hip replacement
We follow your surgeon's hip precautions, then build hip and core strength, walking endurance and balance. Most people are walking without an assistive device within a few weeks and keep improving strength for several months.
ACL reconstruction
ACL rehab runs six to nine months or more, from swelling control to return-to-sport testing. Read our ACL rehab guide.
